Name: Reaper Real Name: Gabriel Griffin Age: Approximately 300 (give or take a few decades) Usual appearance: A large black cat with red eyes
Human appearance: Tall, blonde and blue eyed
Occupation: Was a sword master and a scholar before death
Origin / History:
Reaper’s forced servitude drove him as insane as Fitzgerald already was. Jasper’s mother Luthen Tinveil fought against Fitzgerald. When she fled she took Reaper with her and sealed Fitzgerald away. Reaper was happy for a short amount of time, but still saw himself as a slave to Luthen. It was a bitter fate that Luthen was forced to seal Reaper into dormacy with The Book of Antioc so that the evil sorcerer could not get it.
Years later Jasper met her great great grandfather and found the seal that held Reaper. Breaking the seal she freed Reaper and he helped her fight off Fitzgerald. After that Reaper began trying to teach Jasper about her own powers, but that proved difficult since he was a horrible teacher. Reaper began to care about Jasper something he was never able to do for the rest of her family and finally saw himself as something more then a slave.
Powers:
Reaper is a ghost, who usually stays in the physical form of a cat. His human form takes more energy to maintain, and he has to feed off of Jasper’s energy to maintain it. He has abilities he keeps hidden from her, that were given to him by Lord Fitzgerald.
Born in England, Gabriel Griffin was an aide to Jasper’s great grandfather, Lord Fitzgerald, for whom he helped translate The Book of Antioc from ancient Egyptian. When the translation was complete, Fitzgerald killed Gabriel turning him into the soul stealer, Reaper, then cursed him to be bound to his family’s bloodline till the end of time.
